Our Festival

At the heart of the Toronto Chinese Canadian Film Festival (TCCFF) lies a profound commitment: to celebrate the vibrant tapestry of Chinese culture through the universal power of cinema.


Festival Films 2025

All films will be presented with English subtitles. Feature films begin at 7pm, and are preceded on Saturday-Friday (October 18-24, 2025) by the screening of competition short films at 5pm then voting sessions and folk arts exhibitions at 6pm. Food will be available for purchase during this time.

Experience the world premiere of Kung Fu Juniors, a high-energy action-comedy by acclaimed director Clifton Ko 高志森, featuring screen legends Sammo Hung 洪金寶, Mimi Choo 朱咪咪, Michelle Yim 米雪, Peng Chiquan 彭熾權, Yuan Teng 翟原騰, and He Yutong 何雨桐.

Meet The Finalists
Finalists for the second TCCFF Short Film Competition will be announced soon!

From October 19–23, 2025, following our 5:00 PM short film screenings at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, you’ll have the chance to vote for the TCCFF Audience Choice Award. To participate, simply purchase a festival day ticket or a 7-day pass, which gives you access to short films, feature films and special events.


Daily Chinese Folk Arts Exhibition
On Sunday-Thursday (Oct 19-23, 2025), discover a range of Chinese folk art between 6:00PM-7:00PM! 

Festival Highlights — Full Schedule Coming Soon!
We’re excited to bring you a week full of vibrant cultural events and performances. While the full schedule is still being finalized, here’s a glimpse of some of the experiences we are hoping to feature:

  • Bian Lian 變臉 (Face Changing): A mesmerizing Chinese opera tradition where performers change elaborate masks in the blink of an eye.

  • Theatrical Folk Performances: Costumed presentations featuring beloved figures from Chinese folklore, such as Sun Wukong and Chang’e.

  • Traditional Chinese Sugar Art: Watch artists create stunning animals and figures using molten sugar — a unique blend of craftsmanship and creativity.

  • Chinese Tea Ceremony: Enjoy a daily demonstration by the Multicultural Tea Association, showcasing their signature “kung fu tea” method.
