As a not-for-profit charity, we celebrate the richness of Chinese heritage through a curated selection of feature films and short film contests.

Meet Our Founder
When Tery discovered that Toronto had no Chinese film festival, despite nearly one million Chinese Canadians calling the city home, she made it her mission to build one.
Driven by a clear vision to champion Chinese Canadian cinema, Tery founded the Toronto Chinese Canadian Film Festival in 2024, creating a home for Chinese Canadian stories and for the filmmakers whose names have yet to be discovered by Canada and the world.
Her hope for the future? To discover the next Chinese Steven Spielberg in her lifetime.
